Milestones

Rottapharm’s history began in 1961 in Monza when Professor Luigi Rovati created a small independent research laboratory. Since then, a long road has been travelled thanks to the devotion of its founder, the constant commitment to research and the strategies of expansion bravely conducted both in Italy and abroad, in almost 50 years of activity.

Madaus Pharma was created in 1919 by the Madaus family. Its goal has always been the development of natural pharmaceutical products by applying rigorous methods of chemistry and pharmacology.
