Luigi Rovati
Founder and President
Prof Luigi Rovati, born on 22 July 1928, has a degree in Medicine and Surgery from the
University of Pavia and a Specialization in Clinical Pharmacology. Invited Professor of Clinical
Pharmacology at the University of Pavia. In 2005, Prof Rovati has been appointed Cavaliere di Gran
Croce – Ordine al Merito della Repubblica Italiana (Knight of the Grand Cross of the Order of Merit
of the Italian Republic) by the Italian President Carlo Azeglio Ciampi. Professor Luigi Rovati has
been awarded the “Entrepreneur of the Year 2008 – Global Category” prize, a prestigious Award
promoted by Ernst & Young.In 2011, the President of the Republic, Giorgio Napolitano, has
awarded Professor Luigi Rovati the title of "Knight of Labour".
Lucio Rovati
Vice Chairman and Managing Director/Chief Scientific Officer,
Executive Medical Director
Lucio Rovati has a degree in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Milano and a
Specialization in Clinical Pharmacology. He joined Rottapharm in 1988 as Chief of the Clinical
Pharmacology Dept. Invited Professor at the University of Milano-Bicocca School of Medicine since
2003.
Luca Rovati
Vice Chairman and Managing Director
Luca Rovati has a degree in Economics from the Bocconi University of Milan. He joined
Rottapharm in 1986, after a brief experience in a US based pharmaceutical company. He has been
lecturer in Managerial Finance at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan for almost 10
years.
Vincenzo Maglione
Chief Operating Officer and General Manager
Vincenzo Maglione holds a degree in Pharmacy and an MBA in Economics. He joined Rottapharm
in 2001, after a previous 15 years-experience in the pharmaceutical business. Appointed COO &
General Manager in 2004, Member of Board since 2005. president "gruppo Cosmetici in farmacia"

Sigieri Diaz della Vittoria Pallavicini
Chief Investment Officer
Sigieri Diaz della Vittoria Pallavicini is Member of the board of Rottapharm since 2004,
after having spent many years in Morgan Stanley, Lehman Brothers, JP Morgan and Merrill Lynch.
Graduated in Economics at the University of Rome, he is specialized in international finance and
founder and president of Global Wealth Management.
Giovanni Rutigliani
Member of the Board of Directors and Director of F&A
Giovanni Rutigliani, born in 1937, has a degree in Economics and a specialization in Finance
Administration. He joined Rottapharm since its foundation, in 1961.
Giovanna Forlanelli
Head of Corporate Communications
Giovanna Forlanelli has a degree in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Milano. She
joined Rottapharm in 1988 as International Marketing Manager and developed the Corporate
Communications Department thereafter.
Antonino Santoro
Business Development and Regulatory Affairs Director
Antonino Santoro holds a degree in Chemistry from the University of Messina. He joined
Rottapharm in 1983 as Regulatory Affairs Manager and has been appointed Business Development and
Regulatory Affairs Director in 1988.
Enzo Lacchini
Group Technical Director
Enzo Lacchini joined Rottapharm as Responsible for the production plant in Monza in 1986,
after having graduated in Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Technology at the University of Milan.
Antonio Lovallo
Head of International Marketing
Antonio Lovallo has a degree in Biology and a specialization in Pharmacology. He joined
Rottapharm in 2001 after a long experience in the pharmaceutical business and was appointed head of
International Marketing in 2004.
Stefano Bertoletti
Head of Human Resources
Stefano Bertoletti joined Rottapharm in 1998 after several experiences in Human Resources
Management. He has a University degree in Law.
