Professor Luigi Rovati, Founder and President of the Italian pharmaceutical group Rottapharm, best synthesizes the history of the group.
It all started in 1961 when Prof. Rovati, a Pharmacology Professor at the University of Pavia, decided to lead a small group of scientists and created Rotta Research Laboratorium. His goal was making research the main mission of the company.
Over the years the company has evolved into the Rottapharm Group, a quality brand, imprinted in more than 40 years of activity. Today, Rottapharm is present in more than 80 countries with many pharmaceutical and consumer health products used by millions of patients around the world.
